Government launch new online learning platform – The Skills Toolkit
The Skills Toolkit is a new online learning platform launched by the Government. It gives people access to free, high quality digital and numeracy courses, to help them build up their skills, progress in work and boost their job prospects.
Digital skills are becoming increasingly essential across a vast array of jobs and sectors in the modern workforce, with three quarters (75%) of all job openings requiring at least basic digital skills. Boosting the nation’s digital skills is a first step towards recovery, helping people build up the skills employers need and boosting growth and productivity.
Don’t forget you can also access a range of free digital skills training at the Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership website.
