Head of Service Innovation, Projects & Future Capability - BAE Systems PLC
Peter has worked within education and skills for over 20 years, enjoying 15 years of career progression at Myerscough College prior to joining BAE Systems as Head of Apprentice and Skills Training in 2015. Since joining BAE Systems, Peter has led the delivery of their Apprenticeship training across the UK and held responsibility for the company’s education outreach provision which includes flagship programmes such as the Education Schools Roadshow and Movement to Work. Having recently led a transformation project to modernise the delivery of the company’s Early Careers & Skills services, his current role remains focussed on future service innovation, ensuring action today prepares Early Careers talent for a digital tomorrow.
Peter is a proud STEM and Cornerstone Employer Ambassador, and uses this platform to champion future skills opportunities and support raising the aspirations of young people.
