Sarah Kemp is the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Engagement at Lancaster University. With a wealth of experience and a proven leadership track record, Sarah previously served as the Chief Executive of Lancashire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

In her capacity as Pro Vice-Chancellor, Sarah is tasked with providing strategic leadership to advance the University’s engagement plan. This encompasses overseeing interactions with staff, students, and a diverse range of local, regional, and external stakeholders. Sarah’s responsibilities extend to key components of the government’s levelling up agenda, with a focus on regional funding initiatives. Sarah is also responsible for the Knowledge Exchange Framework, the KE Concordat and Civic University Agreements, engaging actively with our communities to transform society, shaping and influencing the wider skills agenda and supporting strategic initiatives.
