Project Officer - Skills Bootcamps

In March 2024, Vicky joined the Lancashire Skills & Employment Hub team supporting the delivery of Skills Bootcamps – a Department for Education funded programme giving Lancashire residents aged 19 or over the skills needed to enter high-growth, high demand sectors, with a fast-track to an interview with a local employer.

Prior to this role, Vicky was CEO at Lancaster & Morecambe Chamber of Commerce, where for the past 19 years she Connected, Supported and Represented businesses in North Lancashire.  A confident, pro-active, and experienced professional Vicky also has vast International Trade Documentation experience and guided many business through Brexit.

She has a real love for North Lancashire and in particular her home town of Morecambe. She is a proud rugby Mum, and loves watching England and the Heysham Atom’s play. A passionate crafter and lover of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s
